Activities and Events

bringing our curriculum to life

The Study believes that children learn through their play. Our preschoolers are inspired to explore the world around them with hands-on activities designed to engage and excite the littlest learners.

Through integrating art, music, nature, creative movement, sensory materials, free and dramatic play, cooking, science, stories, and outdoor play, the children explore the environment and become knowledgeable and comfortable in their interactions with the world.

TOWARDS A BETTER WORLD

Our activities incorporate social and environmental awareness into the children and emphasises earth-friendly practices and healthy choices. The preschoolers have a lot of fun while building a bond with the natural world. Our lush green surroundings provide enough space to picnic, and learn about seasons, plants, friendly animals, and friendship. Through BUNNINGHAM PALACETEAK WOOD ROWGREEN THUMBS and POTTER’S WHEEL, our children are provided with many different types of experiences to aid them in exploring their world and developing a deep and abiding connection with it.

ACTIVE LEARNERS

The Study School is all about kids being active! The primary goals of sports activities are playfulness, experimentation, exploration, and having fun. We offer a range of activities like TRAMPOLINE, MINI-GOLF, CRICKET, FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL and PADDLE POOL to teach foundational skills. Children also learn the rules of the sport, safety skills and life skills like cooperation, conflict resolution, persistence, discipline and coordination.

We have the safest playground for kids to enhance motor skills, strengthen listening skills and build confidence.

EXPANDING THE WALLS OF THE CLASSROOM

Excursions are an ideal way to involve children in the world around them. The ability to experience the outside world in a safe environment, with their peers, is very exciting for the children. Visual and sensory experiences stimulate the creative potential of children. Through our excursions to ZOO, GARDENs and HISTORICAL MONUMENTs, children develop further in language and literacy, gaining new vocabulary and problem-solving skills.

THE JOY OF MUSIC

Children recognise the melody of a song long before they start understanding the words. Music helps children to express themselves, hone their fine motor skills and develop hand-eye coordination. The Study has its own PERCUSSION BAND. Children love to test their little fingers on various musical instruments like CYMBALS, DRUMS, TAMBOURINE, SHAKERS and TAMBOURINE.  It’s always a joy to see children dancing to the tune of PIANO played by our dedicated music teacher, Mr. Dias.

CREATIVITY UNLEASHED

Kids use arts and crafts as an outlet to be creative and have fun. As kids manipulate a paintbrush, their fine motor skills improve. By counting pieces and colours, they learn the basics of math. When children experiment with different materials, they dabble in science. Teachers at The Study encourage and inspire kids to unleash their creative spirits with different hands-on activities.

CELEBRATING DIVERSITY

Festivals and celebrations play a significant role in the lives of children, as part of their development in the family, community and wider society, nurturing their sense of identity, values and beliefs. The Study family organises celebrations on BIRTHDAYS and FESTIVALS.
